Kontos Gateway

Users can utilize the Kontos Gateway to deposit assets into their Kontos accounts from any of the eight supported chains.

Also, access to the Gateway/Bridge is available directly from the Kontos Web App homepage.

To transfer assets to your Kontos account using a wallet like MetaMask, follow these steps:

• Access the Kontos Gateway:

  • If you access it directly from Kontos Gateway, enter your Kontos account name in the designated field.

  • If you navigate from the Kontos Web App, this field will be automatically populated.

• Choose the Network:

  • Select the network you wish to deposit from (e.g. Ethereum). The Kontos Gateway will generate a QR code and display the Account Abstraction (AA) account address for the selected network.

• Transfer Assets:

  • Copy the AA account address or scan the QR code using your wallet.

  • Make sure you are transferring assets from the same network you selected on the Kontos Gateway.

  • Enter the amount you wish to transfer and initiate the transaction.

• Confirm the Transaction:

  • A MetaMask pop-up will appear, prompting you to confirm the transaction.

  • Carefully review the transaction details, including the recipient address and the amount.

  • Confirm the transaction in your MetaMask wallet by clicking the "Confirm" button.

The assets will be transferred from your other wallet to your Kontos AA account, after which you can use the assets on Kontos.
