How to Switch between Accounts?

When you have more than one Kontos account, there’s no need to log out and log back in; you can simply switch accounts. So how do you switch accounts? There are two ways to do this:

  1. Directly click on the profile icon on the homepage to access the Switch Account option.

  2. Click on the icon in the bottom right corner of the three main sections on the homepage to enter Account Setting ==> Switch Account.

On the Switch Account page, you can click the "Manage" button in the upper right corner to delete an account or click the "Add Account" button at the bottom. Here, you will see two options. If you select "New account", you will enter the new account creation mode. To learn how to create a new account, please click here:

If you select "I already have an account", you will enter Recovery mode. To find out how to recover an existing account, please click here:

How to Edit Security Email?

However, if you want to edit your security email, you can do so at any time through two methods.

  • Click on your profile icon on the homepage to find the "Security Email" option.

  • Click the button at the bottom right of the homepage to enter the Settings page, then go to Account Setting to access the "Security Email" page.

There are three ways to modify your email:

  1. Continue with Google: Use Google services to automatically verify your email in an official manner.

  2. Secure Email Verification: Manually enter your email and receive a verification code to validate it.

  3. Direct Email Entry: Manually enter your email without verification.

Right now, we support Gmails only! If you are logged into your Google account, we recommend using the first verification method.

Please note: Adding a secure email overwrites the previous email address, and also deletes the previous secure email and replaces it with a new one (or list of email addresses). You can set a threshold of 1-10 secure emails when creating an account, and then you need to get the corresponding number of verifications based on this value when recovering an account. An account can have 1-10 security email addresses.

How to Edit Guardians?

Guardians help protect the security of our accounts. So, how can you access the Guardian page to view or modify your Guardians? There are two ways to enter:

1) Click your profile picture to go directly to the Guardian page;

2) Click the Settings icon in the bottom right corner of the homepage, go to the Settings page, then click Account Settings to access the Guardian page.

Here, you can see your Guardians and the accounts you’re protecting. To recover an account, you’ll need the consent of at least two Guardians.

To modify your Guardians, click “Edit” in the top right corner. Each account requires a minimum of two Guardians, so if you wish to remove an existing Guardian, make sure to add at least three or more. The maximum number of Guardians per account is 10.

How do you approve someone else’s Guardian request?

You need the public key sent by the guarded account. In the "Guard For" section, find the protected account and simply paste the public key to proceed.


How to Manage Payment Plan?

A key highlight of Kontos V2 is the ability for users to customize their own exclusive payment solutions. In addition to the system-recommended options, users can select their preferred assets for payment. This feature sets Kontos apart from other products. So, how can you customize your payment plan?

Simply navigate to the Trading page (whether you're buying or selling) or when using the Send function, and look for the "Recommend Plan" section at the bottom. Clicking on it will display your system-recommended plans alongside options for customization.

When you enter the customization page, you'll see all available assets to choose from. You can select or deselect options by clicking the small circles next to each asset. Additionally, you have the convenience of selecting or clearing all options at once with just one click in the upper right corner. This way, you can utilize or retain specific assets according to your preferences.

How to Choose Language?

By default, the system will set your language based on your browser's language settings. If this does not match your preferences, you can adjust it manually at any time.

Click the icon in the bottom right corner of the homepage to enter the Settings page, then click "General".

You can choose from Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean, English, and Russian. Of course, we will do our best to add more language options in the future to meet the needs of more users. Stay tuned!

How to View Assets and Tasks?

How can you check your assets and transaction progress?

In the Kontos Web App homepage, this information is presented very intuitively. Your assets are prominently displayed as soon as you enter Kontos, and next to the Assets section, the Task feature allows you to monitor your task progress at any time. By clicking on Task, you can view the complete task list, and by selecting a specific task, you can see detailed information, including the transaction hash link that automatically redirects you to the blockchain explorer for more specifics.

How to Sync Your Assets?

If you feel that the transaction amount seems off after completing a trade, it may be due to the system not having automatically updated your latest balance or exchange rates. In that case, please click the Sync button next to Assets in the center of the homepage to access the "My Assets" page. From there, click "Sync" next to the specific asset, and it will be updated accordingly.
